Hey guys, just a heads up, I'm gonna try to snipe this for the community, like I tried the Mars script. All content will be scanned at very high resolutions. If you wanted to do the same, I've had this auction in my watch for 5 days now. I'll do my best! I've got more money for this than I did the Mars script, as I've been employed for a while now.

...why not just let PorpoiseMuffins get it? Seriously, all you're doing is making it harder for BOTH of you to get it. You'd be better off combining your money to keep the other bidders from getting it.

No no, let the drama unfold. It gets better.
And I'm glad to say that I own those first two Mobius Goodies books. Bout 'em in a double pack when I was 7 or 8.

Hey, sorry I missed your IM. I'm back online now if you want to talk about this.

We talked and I agreed to let biggestsonicfan win it. It's a good thing, since it sold for more than I could afford to pay.
I'm really excited to see this stuff

Once the Japanese style guides are scanned, somebody should send them to SEGA so they remember how Sonic used to look like, back when he was a respected corporate icon.
Seriously, he doesn't look as good anymore with the green eyes and extremely long spikes. =(

Besides the length of his spikes, my main problem with Sonic's current design is that big, creepy, toothy grin.

Well, here are all the Sega publisher model documents. My apologies for the delayed scans, but a lot has been going on recently. Anyway, most of the actual Western Publishing documents are... well.. boring... Also, the 'animation cells' are nothing more than transparencies of the original artwork used for the publication of the children's books. Hivebrain should definitely like this, and I'd like to get in touch with him to give him special vectored versions.

These are incredibly awesome. May I mirror?

Oh of course, spread it around. Credit is not necessary for any of this stuff, but a small mention would be appreciated.

Interesting stuff. And I love vector art as long as it's in a Xara-compatible format. :P
It's certainly suitable for the Art Archive, although Dioxaz runs it now so you might want to send him a copy.

Congratulations on obtaining the artwork, biggestsonicfan. Although these are just from the books they are interesting, thank you for doing this for us.
