Just wondering: Do you have solutions to avoid delays like these next year?

 

The only solution I can see is to not have a life. Shit happens.

 

There will be a shuffle with judges. There's other things being looked at too, such as reducing trophies as well.

 

...or number of entries... just saying.

Anyway, I assume this shit did not happen today. Hm.

If it does help, 23 trophies have already been allocated. More than half-way through!

 

Looks like it'll be announced for the one week of the year when I have no internet.

Curses.

(That is, if results are revealed this coming weekend.)

 

I have an idea on how to reduce trophies.
Instead of having a best and worst X trophy, just include it in one trophy all together.

Didn't stand a chance to win it: Silver from Silver The Psychic 1 by A Hacker.

Get it? And if there's a runner up, just put him there too.

 

That reduces the amount of trophies by name only, it doesn't reduce the amount of judging done.

Plus, there's only a handful of 'worst' trophies, two or three at best.

 

And we are in December! Congratulations!

Perhaps the podcast will be held at the new year's eve! And I would like that, actually, since I'll be available at both christman's and new year's eve.

If you want to complain, feel free to tell Ayla. There has been a lot of shit that's happened this week with her that has prevented things from happening. Not only that, but one judge is currently unavailable right now. It has been suggested by a few people that we should judge the rest of the entries without Ayla if the problems continue, but I need that other judge for their input and until then, things are delayed. I really want to have everything out by tomorrow, I really do.

When the results are out, next year's contest will begin as soon as possible.

Oh Ayla, I'm so sorry. Reading your post made me cry, I really hope they find out what's wrong with her... But am I one of the few people who have been waiting patiently for this? It just seems like everyone is too impatient. :v:

 

I'm also very sorry to hear that, Ayla. I wish there was some way to help other than saying "I'm so sorry." I was really expecting all of you to take part on it, but the issues you have at hand right now are top one priority.

I kinda know that feeling of hoping that a loved one returns to health over a period of time, but seven months must be emotionally and spiritually brutal.

Whenever someone is away/incommunicado for a while, I always hope it's something minor, but that hope was just totally crushed.
