I think a movie about a fast food drive in would be ground breaking/a ton more creative than Super Hero movie #630

Very interesting. Although not sure how big a Sonic movie would be a this point. I think we're long past the golden era where a genuine big-screen film would've been a massive money maker for Sega (I mean, they had their chance when Super Mario Bros and Street Fighter were doing their run of cheesy films). Unless it's a smaller straight to DVD/BD thing, like Resident Evil Degeneration/Damnation

Could we be looking at a 'Sonic Boom' tie-in project?

Or maybe my dreams of a sequel to the OVA movie are finally coming true?

In all seriousness, I wonder if they're gonna start from a certain era (Classic, Adventure, ect), or make it a stand-alone thing? A Sonic Boom tie in could be likely, but I doubt it.

If Sony is making the movie, you can probably expect that the animation will be done by one of their own animation studios.

As for Genndy Tartakovsky, apparently he's already busy with making a Popeye movie.

Eh, even if it's registered I can't see anything coming from it (at least now). Adaptations are often stuck in Development Hell or put on hold for years. I know of more than a dozen films like that.

I'm interested as long as it's close to the games.. Which 10/1 it will not be.
