Time Attack is much different in this one but still unplayable. Player/monitor icons are finalized... They look like crap just like in the final now:
Featuring Espio the chameleon unlike in the final version. As stated above time attack is broken. Wehicnda has messed up sprites. Knuckles and Espio still spin in the opening stage but Espio disappears. Pressing start during the tutorial will make the Dpad and buttons disappear. Debug mode is enabled by default. The HUD for powerups is not there. You can choose your player before you return to the level hub from the intro level. Instead of collecting world rings you collect holy rings. It is possible to get a negative score. Amazing arena does not change music once you hit the light switch. There is the map of Newtrogic high zone in the Sega screen.
What the poo!? Someone's STILL missing!!!! Also, when you enter the world selection stages, the morning version of the world selection BGM plays, regardless of the time of day. If you exit, you'll the band of stars that bind the two characters together will enlarge.
Spiked ball object in SSZ 1 Don't remember seeing this anywhere in the final. Been a while since I played though. it behaves like the spiked balls in S3 marble zone, except they rotate around a 3D axis.
Mighty's wallkick is also different from final. You can't jump up, only for opposite direction. Also, the attraction picture in World Entrance spins
In the intro, they got rid of Metal Sonic from the 111 proto, and replaced it with Robotnik repairing the Combi Capsule (or whatever the hell it is). Then Knuckles moves right to Espio, but you can run away from him if you run to the left of him.
The World Entrance is fucked up, from pallete issues, deformation problems & the inability to select a stage:
It looks like almost noone is bothering to update the wikipedia. I put the info from here to the wikipedia, which will need some rewording. So should I announce in the threads that the info has been ported? Or is that spam?
I guess it's okay, though you may as well wait until the threads die off to do so—it might become difficult to keep up with.
It's seemed pretty dead to me now. That's why I'm doing it. I was waiting for Sonic cult to put the stuff on their site but so far noone has. So I figured I'd just put all this info as is on the wikipedia and let people in the know tidy it up, if anyone decides to do it anyway. It's better than reading the threads trying to get info on them that way.
