I do seem to remember this being announced quite a while ago, but back then I thought it was just a rumor. And according to that link, there actually IS a Sonic Riders sequel. PLEASE tell me that this is a joke. Since the first one was terrible, I think it's safe to assume that this one will be JUST as terrible, if not worse.

Looks like it's gonna be released for the PS2 to boot. With any luck, maybe they'll release it for the GC. I know not many GC games are getting released at all now, but meh. I can only hope, as I can't afford a Wii, PS3 or XBox 360 right now. lol.
... what? I liked Sonic Riders... storyline and new/dumb characters aside, I found it a fun game.

I made it to Green Cave in roughly an hour and never, ever touched the game again. Seriously, I had a better experience with Shadow.

Sonic Team is getting worse & they are increasing it with this if the game is true. Sonic Riders would actually make a good Wii game instead of a PS2. There was only 2 games in the usual Sonic style & that was Sonic Heroes & Shadow the Hedgehog, the rest being compilations (they were good) or stupid racing games.

Riders wasn't bad. Its track designs were quite good.
The way you had to get up to high shortcuts was pretty nice too.
Oh and it had some cool music.

I could probably stomach a sequel as long as though damn birds don't come back. Jet's voice led me quickly to the GC's power button.
EDIT: And I also don't want to destroy another controller because I had rotate the control stick to charge my air.
