I don't think it has. And what's really awesome about this track besides being so obscure is that the instruments used sound so authentic to SA1. The horns and the synths give some serious Egg Carrier vibes.
Not remotely interested in the game, but really pumped to see Tee Lopes getting to work on Sonic more.
Damn good remix. I've got some Best Buy credit to burn so I should go ahead and order this, I suppose. I really hope it's better than I'm expecting.
I don't understand the complains about the game. By now, it looks like a fine run racer (if that's how the genre is called? I don't know, I call them like that), and the team mechanic are a quite unique idea. Only con that I see is that it looks a little slow, but maybe releasing a frenetic racer is not the best if the audience are kids, I don't know.
Oh my, this remix is superb. Its also fantastic to be getting remixes from stages that haven't been represented in the past, I'm really hoping there is a good amount of locations and songs that aren't just rehashes from the past few Sonic games.
OOOOFF now that is some fine cheese not seen since like Sonic & The Black Knight. I wonder what took them so long to go back to Crush 40 for stuff? I mean I preferred the direction they took in Colors, Unleashed, and Generations but still, they're not without their cheesy charm.
Loving seeing a return to this kind of thing from Crush 40 no less as it reminds me of the Dreamcast days and Sonic Adventure 2's release - but this sounds like Live and Learn 1.5 or Live and Learn "but worse". Like they literally tried to echo that exact track. It sounds strikingly similar. Whatever though. I'll take it.
I'm not really liking the similarity to Live and Learn but...whatever gimme the buttrock and don't ever stop.
If I had to guess, probably just availability issues with Gioeli, as he does solo stuff and stuff with his main band, Hardline. Not sure what all Senoue is up to these days, but that seems like the most likely answer. Seriously though, I want this soundtrack now. //forums.sonicretro.org/public/style_emoticons/default/colbert.png
It's not the song itself, it's the signing that sounds like Live & Learn. I just listened for the first time and I hear it. They might be different words most of the time, but if you didn't speak English you'd probably think they're the exact same voiceover in a different song.
