Subtle gradient, hrmm?

See, I can use Photoshop too!... barely.
Of course, I dunno if I'd recommend ANY embellishments until we get the basics down, y'know? And even then, this is about as far as I'd recommend going.

The gradient on the background is too much. Try it with just the text.

Perhaps some motion on that red part rather than a gradient (I.e., scrolling up)? That gradient's too strong.

Hey, I supplied the PSD, so if you think you can improve (and I make no claims that this was any good to begin with, so you probably can), go wild.

I agree.
Also some of the letters doesn't look quite right.
Maybe we should make a new hybrid font adding the different original S2 ones.

After taking various improvements into account, I've made an updated title card.

Changes:
Apart from that, it's the same.

Changes:
- Font colour from white to gradiated grey.
- Altered 'A' in 'Emerald' to make it near the original.
Apart from that, it's the same.

The shadowing somehow changed it seems. I think the shadowing you had first looks better. Not sure I like the gray-dient either. *shot*

I liked the gradients that you had for the blue and the yellow in the old pic.

Okay.
After the hints from Blue Streak and ^_^ Slaituk, updated title card.

I don't really think the gradient is necessary, but whatever. It ends up using many more colors than it should, though.

I sort of like it. It gives the title cards a glossy look to them. Otherwise, there isn't too much that could be done other than smoothen out some of the edges of the triangles.
In that last one, though, there's something off about the bottom right red part.
