19 March 2017 - 10:28 PMI generally feel like blurry effects don't mix well with small pixelated sprites. Maybe the light rays would fit better if they were flat instead of being a gradient. Otherwise, it looks really nice.
Was more of a test in photoshop, never planned to use them in game.
Here's the pic without them:
Also changed the flowers, and a improved palette by @MrLange
I like how crisp the graphics are

23 February 2017 - 10:22 PMI guess due to real-life pressures, it delays work progress. That applies to any mod team though.
I wonder if they use redmine or github because that would speed things up.
20 February 2017 - 07:21 AMThere's missing teeth too.
Based on the artwork, it doesn't look like the teeth should be visible from the angle the sprite is shown. They don't appear to extend to the outside of the mouth, what we see on the artwork looks like the inside of Rexon's left side, which completely covers the teeth.
Yeah I see it. Kinda funny to picture it with buck goofy teeth though
19 February 2017 - 11:53 PMYou guys could also make the mouth open wider when the fireball comes out, that would give the animation a little more depth also. But than again it may look even more goofy. lol
We actually tried to do that but, yeah it looked weird. d: He is constantly shooting so if you make him open his mouth when he does it looks like he's chewing on something.
One solution would be to have the mouth open and close in the idle animation rather than the mouth being open all the time. Spice things up
There's missing teeth too. When firing, the animation can show the teeth before he fires when the player is within range.
The top end of the muzzle could be less pointy at the tip and more rounded as it looks dolphiny-ish but apart from that, nice job!
