So just a heads up here but Humble's new Sonic bundle just went live. Near to $200 worth of Sonic games: https://www.humblebundle.com/games/sonic-bundle $1 Tier More than Average Tier (~$7) $15 Tier For $15 you can grab everything. I have a few games missing in my Steam library like Lost World and Sumo's racing games so thought I'd give everyone the heads up as I thought there might be some of you who'd also want to complete your collections. The bundle's up for the next two weeks. All games are redeemable on Steam. Enjoy everyone.
OWO sucks that I'm broke or else I would totally do the $15 even though I own Mania, CD, Generations, and Adventure 2 (no Battle DLC uwu)
Yea I own all of those save for Forces PC, but something tells me itd run poorly on my current rig. Also it's Forces. Good deal though.
I'm waiting for Mania to hit the $10 marker before trying it, but this may actually be as low as it ever gets...
Forces is the only one I don't own. I can't justify spending $15 bucks on Forces, if I'm to believe the general concensus.
Sorry, but I still refuse to buy either Mania or Forces on PC until Denuvo is removed. (Keep in mind that I've purchased both regular Mania (CE) And the Plus version on BOTH the Switch and PS4, so don't think I'm not giving the devs their well deserved cut. It's not a cost thing at all)
Just got it. So I already had Mania on PC. Given that Forces was also offered it only made sense to support Sonic....in not buying that trash. Lol j/k but liek srsly not buying that. Will try it when it falls into my lap for free. Looking forward to finally trying Lost World and revisiting Gens. Havent played Gens in years. Was curious about how lost world controlled (have not heard good things) because I definitely support a return to 3D platforming for Sonic.
What are the specs required to run Generations? I'm hesitant as my laptop is old, yet I think it may be able to handle it.
Great because all the games I didn't have on steam are in the $1 section, the others I already have or have no interest in getting. Nice
I'm a bit tempted to get this, if only so I could own Forces without giving SEGA a single cent for it. (I own everything else in there, so... I guess those codes could be nice gifts?)
I got the $7 ($10 AUD) tier bundle, as I didn't own a lot of these games on PC, but already had Mania+ and had no desire to play Forces. I have a spare Sonic CD steam key if anyone needs it or wants to trade keys. Drop me a message if you're interested.
The sonic CD steam key was also a nice bonus, as I only previously had the mobile version of the game. Now I can play it on my TV.
I was about to post this, exactly... But may get the $1 tier just for the extra keys, because you never know when you'll find somebody in need of Sonic CD. I... think these do count towards the sales totals? Please somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
They will, but since it's Humble he chose to give no money to Sega. You cab choose where all the money goes wether it be Humble, whatever companies the games come from, or charity. But Humble obviously paid Sega for the keys they are giving out anyway. I personally would never give money to Humble for instance.
Woah yeah - everything Sonic is deeply discounted in the Steam Winter sale. Probably to mirror the fact that everything's up on Humble also for super cheap. Awesome time to get a hold of these games via whichever route.
Bundle's doing well at 65K sales with just under 6 days left. Compare that to the 25th anniversary bundle which stands at 91K. It's a shame Forces was so disappointing because $15 for that and every notable Sonic game on Steam make this one hell of a steal - but unfortunately we're in a position where most of us have everything already and no-one wants Forces. Even I'm hesitating as I already have Generations and Mania - and they're the most important games in the bundle. This is the cheapest you can get everything however - prices on Steam even with the Winter sale are much higher. Come January everything will revert back to full price. Decisions, decisions.
