My guess would be light switch covers, but that's retarded because lightswitches don't go sideways.

...Or do they?

I've seen some that do. Ammy is a pretty horrible misspelling though.

Also what are these anyway?

...Yeah, what's all this and where did it come from. We need to have all this stuff documented, not just stored in bulk.

I have a feeling that it's one of the very old-era Classic Sonic art ever made, with his top spine longer and more straight than usual.

Also, it was used for the Sonic Pocket Adventure title cards, being probably a leftover from when the graphics in that game were still classic-style.

That particular Sonic pose was used to denote games that were part of "Project Sonic".

Which I think is probably a fancy term for "this is a Sonic game".

Then it was used in Sonic Pocket Adventure. So basically, generic Japanese Sonic artwork from the late 90s, and in my opinion, the best sort.

Picked Up two full sets of Topps Sonic the Hedgehog Trading Cards at SoS 2011.
These stood out for me, particularly that Sonic 2 behind shot.
A lot of the screens seem to be from Beta Versions (Side Piston Spikes) The Sonic 2 Logo Card is from the Beta also.
But doesn't look like there is anything we haven't seen before.

Might Scan the whole lot at some point, if anyone has interest...

I'd love to have that Sonic 2 behind shot in a bigger version smile.png, please?

I have a framed poster with this image. I don't know where I got it since it as loose in stack of gaming magazines orginally before I framed it. I also took a picture of the other side of the poster while I had it out of the frame.

I swear I had seen this before, so I opened up my PAL Master System Sonic 1 and there it is! It's mirrored and used as a poster in the PAL Master System Sonic 1 (minus the text at the bottom), I have it in front of me but I can't scan it. It's quite big, and thick when folded into the box! On the back is just advertising the Mega Drive and its games.

The small images of Sonic, Amy, Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman where they miss spelled Amy's name they were Japanese Arcade prizes and they are Clocks. The large and small boxes with pictures of Sonic and Tails on them are Japanese Sonic Cookie boxes and Sweets boxes. The art on them I really liked and thought was cute and its something we've never seen anywhere before and the art style is like Sonic Screen Saver which is one of my favorites.

Japanese back pack and American lunch box, ugly Knuckles is a Sonic 3 magazine scan and the futuristic city is a Sonic CD article showing Quartz Quadrant Special Stage. The images of Sonic that say SegaSonic The Hedgehog on them were Japanese Calling Cards and the image of Sonic sitting on the beach drinking a soda with Tails flying in the background is a Japanese Post Card. The SegaSonic image of Sonic running with Tails following and Knuckles flying and Eggman in the far left background that is also a Japanese Post Card. All from the early and late 90's era.

In my first set of pictures I posted the group image showing everyone's height differences was from Sonic's Gameworld and the Mega World images were from a Japanese 90's Magazine. The image of Sonic in colored pencil art style in the emblem is a Japanese Happy New Years Card and the small Sega Megadrive image of Sonic was also a Japanese Magazine. The Japanese version of the Sonic and Tails Sonic 2 pose was from both Mega World Magazines and also was the cover for a short Japanese Sonic Comic, it was a small promotional chapter of the Sonic Comic that has Nicky his split personality in it and earlier version of Amy where she was brown and sported a upward pony tail like hair style.

The Amy and Sonic 3 posters came with the Sticker Collection the small images on the posters can be removed and are stickers. Sonic on the cellphone is seen in black and white on the end of every Genesis Japanese Manual. Super Sonic is both an American and Japanese Pencil Case, Stationary Notebook and also Stickers. Small image of Amy is from Gameworld as well and Sonic's laughing with blinked pupils is from Gameworld as well I believe. Sonic emblem is from the Sonic 1 Game Gear and the image of Sonic and Tails on the Sega building are from Sonic SS Sound Novel Town. The image of Sonic running with the red background is from a Japanese Sonic 2 Magazine Advertisement.

Sonic Book

For 1992, that's a wonderfully sculpted Sonic figure on that book cover.

I also specifically had this book! My uncle gave it to me years ago, but I can't find it for the life of me. Thanks for the memories. =)

Japanese Back Pack

That's actually British, I had one when I was a kid wink.png

If you're looking for Sonic art, there's loads of it here: http://sonicresearch.org/art/index2.html That's where most of my collection is from. There's a lot of common artwork on there but also some more unusual stuff (a few pieces of art that have been posted in this topic already are on that site, for example).

Oh my mistake lol XD Sonic is drawn kind of like Oshima's style which is why I thought it was Japanese. Yeah I practically live on that site, I have all the art on there. I'm crazy about Sonic artwork especially the Classic Era.

Japanese Sonic Stationary

Another one of those Classic and Modern Sonic art style hybrids like the 3D Blast Japanese Box Art. It's also Stationary.

It's small and hard to see, I'm in the process of hunting a larger image of this down. It's a Mega World Issue with Sonic and Tails drawn and doing a stance we've never seen anywhere before, its a nice picture its a shame I can't find it larger in size.

I found out the origin of this picture, it was a 1993 Japanese Post Card. How I wish more than anything to find it in a larger non pixelated size.

While it's not the exact image, I remember somebody recreated a higher resolution version of this image, as I had it for my desktop background not long ago:

I wonder how long will it take until some site claims that pic as "official". Or SEGA.
