Yes, Traffic Attacks are terrible. Also thankfully Yogscast wasn't the last DLC that was released, Ryo Hazuki was.

Can we have a Retro multiplayer stream of this game again? Been too long.

Oh, I guess I was wrong. I assumed Ryo Hazuki was released earlier because he was already DLC in Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing.

Seeing as this topic has been bumped, I would love love love love LOVE to see another installment in the ASR series. ASRT was fantastic - it's a very solid kart racer that manages to step well outside of Mario Kart's shadow and oozed passion at every point. I only hope that Sumo Digital haven't moved on to bigger and better things than SEGA outright.

Definitely want to second that. ASRT is probably one of my favorite games of all time. A new one (possibly with greater production values) would be awesome.

Well, since Racing Transformed they made LittleBigPlanet 3, the Xbox 360 version of Forza Horizon 2, the racing part of Disney Infinity 3.0, and they are currently co-developing Crackdown 3.

So they have been busy with plenty of other stuff. They are seemingly still in contact with SEGA though seeing how they did help out with Sonic Dash 2, so another All-Stars Racing game does seem possible.

So, I know the game is based on skill, but sometimes the AI goes like way too hard. Like, sometimes they all target me and try and crash into me, or like, sometimes the CPU in first place will be super far ahead of the rest of the racers and it's impossible to catch up because that's when the game decides to like, never give me a drone to hit them.

This really was a great game and it's sad to see that the series is on hiatus for now. I still think we should have had Ristar or Vectorman though.

I still play this game. Recently some of my friends purchased it during the last steam sale and they all like it.

It would be nice to have more tracks as DLC rather than more characters. I consider the number of characters is fine in my opinion.

Finding the Sonic 2006 E3 demo (not much though)
I would love to see some stages from '06 and Unleashed, and maybe SA2. Probably Crisis City and Kingdom Valley (well, Crisis City would confuse things like Generations), and also Green Forest and Windmill Isle.

Real talk for all the Sega employees paid to browse this godforsaken forum: This was by far the greatest game to come out of Sega to date. I cannot even begin to tell you just how phenomenal the replay value on it is. I bought it near launch and have consistently played it on and off ever since. It got me through some stressful times in grad school. It is the ONE game in my library that is my go to when none of my friends can agree upon a game to play. Heck I just recently went back and A ranked everything to find that I'm STILL NOT DONE with the game. It's like an investment that keeps on giving, and likely won't ever stop.

If Sega was to release DLC tracks today I know for a fact we would all buy it. Now I know the game is a bit too far removed for DLC at this point, but PLEASE learn from this game. Transformed is that shining beacon of hope that show Sega still knows how to output a quality game, but it is unique in that it surely is the top title in its genre on PC. In short: Make More.

Transformed was a littlerough around and the edges in part and I feel that Sumo could have done with a little extra development time just to smooth things out a bit, but it really is difficult to stress just what a fantastic and unique racing game it is. It effortlessly bridges the game between kart racers and more realistically themed racing games while simultaneously bringing fresh ideas and the best fan service to the table.

I seriously hope that Sumo Digital work work SEGA on yet another racing game, because their track record is simply wonderful. First we got a brilliant Mario Kart clone that was better than the Mario Kart of that generation (Wii) and then Transformed just blew everything out is the water. It's really terrific.

Last week I played this game with friends and we completed a lobby (full 10-players). It was very fun and refreshing that the game is still played online.

  14. Anybody still play this game? I finally got around to playing it after a long time of it sitting on my Steam library, but the online lobby was empty. Just kind of curious, if any of you guys still played this, what would be the most likely time to be able to catch other players online?

Oh wow, I had NO idea Sumo Digital is co-developing Crackdown 3.

This makes me more hopeful for that game, I absolutely loved the first one and want to see if they can make up for the disaster that was 2.

Weirdly enough, I just got the Wii U version of the game yesterday. I'm at "world" 3 of the campaign, and I'm really enjoying it. I was afraid it was going to be 75% Sonic stages, but I'm pleased with the number of other SEGA titles. I got really excited when I first played the Shinobi stage.

I informed my friend and he told that he would gladly play with you (so far he played mostly in local multi and definitelly would like to try in online multiplayer), I'm sending on PM link to his profile on Steam. Have fun :)

Bumping this thread again, but I recently came across an interesting tidbit: At least 2 versions of All-Stars Racing Transformed use the same save file format; the PC version, and surprisingly, the PS Vita version. This means that if your Vita is able to use native homebrew, you could inject a PC save into ASRT Vita, and the game will accept it. I managed to inject a near-100% save file (all tracks and characters, but World Tour not fully done) into my copy of the Vita version and the only things off is having to turn off Motion Steering and the in-race tutorial boxes pop up every now and then. This is good because I realize I have gotten seriously rusty to the point I'm pretty much a noob at the game again.

Sorry for the bump, but if you own Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed on Steam/PC, you will get the DLCs now for free. (Metal Sonic and Ryo Hazuki ones: you still have to pay Yogscast DLC because the "profits go to charity" thing in that DLC.)

Oh and those DLCs are now packed with the base game if you haven't bought the game yet. I guess this only applies to Steam/PC version has well.

Can confirm, though the DLCs will show that you've bought them at the same date you bought the base game. Outrun Bay is also included.
