They really are going out to promote the game, aren't they? Makes sense. The series was sold best in Europe so far, and Sonic is incredibly popular in the UK where the games are being held.

It's because for some reason in that render, his fur on his spikes and stuff stands out much more than usual.

Either it's a crappy rip or that model has some really low quality shading applied to it. Look around the shoe. Never mind what looks like the lack of AA.

Also, I'm surprised no one's done a picture of Mario stabbing Sonic with that javelin.

That render looks repally wierd, like its Half a 3D CG model and half photoshop 2D cretaed elements

Ok, I admit it, I got a laugh out of that.

But seriously, I'm calling it that this series becomes SEGA's answer to the Madden Football series. Same damn thing every game, just some new cosmetics and a new title.
