Tails Doll

It is a good character (disregarding all the curse bullshit), so I think it should return.

The Tails Doll is an absolutely useless filler character and I have no idea why people are so obsessed with it. Good riddance, as far as I'm concerned.

 

I have the same viewpoint on it, honestly. Tails Doll is no better a character than Big.

 

Tails Doll should be the next superpowerful being that Eggman summons to take over the world with.

 

If he ever came back there would need to be a reason.

And the only reason is...to take over the planet or something.

That or Sonic R2, if they ever do revisit it.

As a little easter egg couldn't hurt though...

 

Actually, Big IS a pretty much better character - since he's actually a character, not a stupid floating doll that is more ridiculous than it's fanbase.

 

Seems to be some random niche meme that develops based on the aspect of fear, similar to the Burger King King (but not on such a grand scale). That's the Internet for you.

 

People are just drawn to overlooked characters sometimes. *coughNackcough*

And the funny thing is that when you brought up Big I remembered one of my ideas for the comic I have plotted out in my head where Sonic Adventure is played out withing the characters' universe; at one point the expy of Big goes all batshit on the Chaos-esque creature and uses kung-fu fishing action to freeze it solid. The way I see it, Big has a lot of potential for a competent "Lets get Dangerous" moment, like that one issue of StC Online. For me, that is the ONLY decent issue in that comic.

RE: Tails Doll: He's a filler character. This "curse" meme is completely retarded and never should have be4en. When I first played Sonic R I found the complete lack of characterization amusing but ever since I first came across the meme and the morons propogating it I just facepalm. .
Edit: Right, forgot to directly answer the question. As implied by my above statement, I do not believe that Tails Doll should come back in any way, shape, or form. Let the odd personality-free character sit as a footnote and be done with him already!

 

No I don't think he should come back. The only character from Sonic R I wouldn't mind seeing again would probably be Metal Knuckles, he looks bad ass, but seeing as how Knuckles is useless now a days that wouldn't work.

Come to think of it I'm surprised they haven't made a Metal Shadow yet, and I'm not talking about those Shadow clones from Shadow the hedgehog. I mean a Metal Sonic look alike.

Dude, what the hell. You better not be hating on Big. Big is amazing.

 

And Anti-Big, if introduced in the Archie comics, would be the supreme master of the Sonic universe. Period.

What would be interesting, nonetheless, is if Sega put the Tails Doll in a game...not as a playable character, but as just a throwback, say as a child's doll or in a picture.

 

Why don't we just ask the developers of Sonic R as to why this even existed in the first place?

 

Perhaps as an in joke between developers?
