I've shown progress of my shitty hack in this forums in other threads... And fuck this game! Sonic can suck Mario's cock with this & Knuckles And Toils bullshit. That project was mistake and here's video full of airhorns dedicated to Sega - fuck you and fuck your gamez!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7m1I2E3gIP8 Spoiler Happy April Fools Day! I will work on my hack.
Oki, enough April Fools shit. Like I've shown on video I need some time to fix level layout (I have other projects to handle). I will still working on this project. Stay tuned for updates. EDIT: Issue with random chunks is fixed! Stay tuned for more updates. :3
Time for release first demo of my hack. It has one level Windows Zone, all Sonic 3 Special Stages are edited, two new SMPS I've made for Flamewing's sound driver. Stay tuned for more updates and here's video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8MVmNtOVVU&feature=youtu.be ...and download link: Download Special Thanks goes to JDPense for help with putting Flamewing's driver and fixing level order glitch after beating Windows Zone and Ralakimus for help in usage of Blue Balls program and thank you all for support and major thanks for people who made hacking tools and tutorials.
Before I clicked the video, I thought "you know what would be perfect music for a Windows themed game?" Then I clicked it, and that's exactly what song you used. lol. Well done.
I'm not a fan of this level design. So many leaps of faith. Also you can't get out of the hole the special stage ring is in. Me trying to beat the one level:
I got to say, if your'e going to release a demo, you've got to make it playable. Objects and platforms are just placed randomly. Too many bottomless pits and not-bottomless pits that just drop down for far too long and are inescapable. I couldn't finish it. On the artistic side, I don't see how the music connects with the windows level theme. Sounds like some very basic Boogerman rip. I would've gone with S3K's trial theme or Chaotix's tutorial theme. Edit" Didn't know you made the music. It's not bad for a first try, but I think you still need to take the style in a very different direction.
