I can only hope that this game sees an Android port like Sonic Jump and better yet, a release on just about every major platform like Angry Birds. It's one of those games that you would want to own multiple times; cheap enough to do so, and then you can have one copy for your PC's 1080p monitor and one copy you can take with you. Porting games written in Java takes all of 2 hours primarily for quality assurance. As fun and addictive as Sonic Jump was, I'm sure Sonic Dash will be great.

Still praying for that Android version of Sonic Jump so I don't have to wait until I come home for Christmas to play...

I hope this isn't any indication that we wont see more Sonic Jump updates. I'd imagine that if they are putting more focus on a newer project, we will likely not see attention towards Jump... Alas, how unfortunate. I was hoping to see more from Jump. We're supposed to see more challenges, along with Shadow, Cream, Cosmic Zone, and Mechanical Zone...

Oh well...

my thoughts exactly :( but anyways, I look forward to this game too, it looks like a Temple Run clone but still sounds like fun

On a DS sure, but on a phone? How would you destroy that kind of screen?

It would appear SEGA still has immense difficultly rendering Sonic's mouth well.

EDIT: Didn't take long for a fan to fix it.

I'll be buying an iPod Touch later this year. I look forward to playing this game along with Sonic Jump.

Now that they have stated the game is in 3D, this is what I expect. Or something along those lines at least.

It seems so. "Our spikey hero goes on a fast and frenzied 3D dash through the stunning grassy verges of Seaside Hill" is a perfect description of that tech demo! Even down to the Seaside Hill bit!

It would be dumb to make just that. That tech demo was literally just you having to rub the touch screen as fast as possible, also it was just a tech demo. This game will probably be more like Temple Run or Sonic and the Secret Rings.

For those that haven't seen the Sonic DS endless runner video, here it is:

A Sonic and the Secret Rings styled game for the iOS would be neat. It's another possibility.

Ewh. That render is worse than the Sonic 4 one. How come Sonic Team constantly add muck to his shoes. I understand he runs a lot but its the only part of his body/clothes that is affected by the elements.

Regardless I am looking forward to this.
