Ray's also in Sonic 1 With Fries, hope they keep working on it, especially with the new sprites they previewed.

Although... it'd be great to have a 1.3 version of Vector of him climbing walls now, and an Espio hack, but I bet porting his wall+ceiling running is very tough.
I love E-122's work so far, and I always try to speedrun every character (even ones he did not port) in every level of Sonic 1 to see who comes on top.
Naturally, I have to nerf Charmy a bit, by not flying above the visible screen, otherwise there's no contest.
Usually Charmy, Tails, Vector are the best character, followed by Amy, Mighty and Knuckles. XD
Funny you should mention that:

It's nearly all done aside from the aforementioned wall ceiling grip which I'll need to do some research on.
A S1 Vector revision with wall climb is definitely intended though like Espio I'll have to learn how to implement it first.
Cream is planned but the sheet still needs to be done.

That's the basic idea for all these character hacks proof in concept to show how they could potentially work in a 2D classic game.
Sally still isn't done though, we're working on a projectile move to put a real twist to her gameplay. I really want to show all the potential she could have in a game.

This. I'd love to do Gamma but his mechanics are way beyond what I know, as are Big's. If they were to get their own project it would HAVE to be done well so I'm not touching them till I can program them to their full potential.
Sorry for my lengthy absense by the way, my laptop broke so I was offline for a few weeks. It gave me some time to work on sprites though.
