He still swims, he just doesn't show the correct animation. Same with getting tired after flying for a while.

Hopefully drx will give us a "rev01" like stealth did. *wink wink*

So drx, would this object be easily portable to a clean Sonic 1? I'd like that. =P

1. I'll release a new version with tails, sorry.
2. Swimming just lacks an animation.
3. It IS clean Sonic :P

I feel kinda strange about some comments, but eh...

Well, he does have his tails in some animations. Although it would be sweet if there was a revision, with all the animations to make it on par with Sonic 2 or 3 Tails. Good work though. I know something like this would take time.

So can we have a perfect Spindash for Sonic in Sonic 1 yet? Or how about flying Tails in Sonic 2? I hope someone tackles those projects next.

Perfect spindash IS in Sonic 1. In this very hack. Try doing it :P Well, he misses his tails, but it's perfect.

Copy the code, relocate the pointers, add the animations, alter any variables to their corresponding positions between games and set a variable for the spindash charge to use. Shouldn't be too hard to do really.

Ummm...

Sonic 1 Plus?
Knuckles in Sonic 1?
Tails in Sonic 1?

They all have it.

Sonic 1 Plus is the only one of those that meets what he said: "perfect Spindash for Sonic in Sonic 1".

Actually, Steath's hack is the only one that has truely 'perfect' spindash code in Sonic 1. Sonic 1+ and Tails in Sonic 1 are missing the scrolling code that holds the scrolling position until the player reaches close to the edge of the screen when the spindash is first released.

This hack is pretty awesome though... not quite polished yet but still awesome :) I've always thought if it was ever possible, a Sonic redone for 32X would solve all the palette issues when adding different players. But yeah, that'd require rather hefty modifications.

Well, yeah. I just wanted one for Sonic himself. I'm not looking to put it in my hack cause I'm not making any hacks of Sonics. I just like special editions of games. I'm usually not into level hacks or anything like that, but gameplay hacks.

Anyway, I'll try this Sonic plus, where is it? I typed sonic 1 plus in google and came up with links to Sonic mega collection plus.
