Well speaking on texture mods and all that good stuff. I finally figured in photoshop how to actually get those alpha textures to work for dds files. Just one setting I had to change it to., such a nuisance.

Anyways since you guys love Sonic 4 and like to make fun of it, but overall still enjoy it I did this just for fun. So now he'll waggle his finger at you and not have the odd smile he does to you. I'm not going to say its an improvement but its just for some good fun.

Okay, I feel technologically inept here, but I bought this on Steam last night (I was getting the Gen. DLC and CD, so I figured why not), but I cannot get the game to recognize my gamepad. It works for Generations and CD, so it can't be the controller's fault. I can't even get past the title screen because of this. I configured it to use the game pad, but it just doesn't work (I just tried the keyboard, and it works, but I'm terrible at using keyboards for platformers or sidescrollers...)

Is anyone else experiencing this? Am I doing something retarded? (That really wouldn't surprise me...)

I would like to interject and point out that this is not an excuse to trot out the exact same bitching and whining that has already taken place over Sonic 4. Shark Week also covers this thread.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled platformer, already in progress.

No one discuss the game properly; pretend it is perfect and only write about how much fun you are having. Pre-school rules in effect.

You know damn well what I meant, but hey, trolls gotta troll :specialed:

Sonic 4 is by no means a decent game, but a return to the embarrassment that was some of the previous threads simply isn't happening.

That would have almost been funny 2 years ago when I did it. Good job.

It all comes back to the simple fact that not everyone has the ability or desire to mod their game consoles. The PC version is the first version that's easy for everyone to mod. So let him have his fun.

Does the World of Darknes (Act 2) of Lost Labyrinth have a Power Sneakers monitor?

It does, but I haven't played the game lately so I can't say exactly where it is.

I probably won't buy this version anytime soon, because I'm more interested in what you guys do with it than to actually play it again.

The same applies to me... I might buy it only if somebody is able to fix it.

Classic Sonic optional, but ideal. =P

Why does Sonic have his modern look in Sonic 4, when it is a game set after Sonic 3 & Knuckles?
