Hope these help!
You're making some of the other Techies look bad. :P Dumbass starts to congratulatory posts aside, that's pretty cool. Maybe we'll start seeing some Crackers music mods, or maybe just more Crackers hacking in general. More hacking of any game that hasn't been hacked much is always a good thing.
Yeah. Once you understand the format of something, you learn to look up common characteristics of that data to locate stuff. The "0603" is me searching for music data with 5 FM channels, 1 DAC channel and 3 PSG Channels. Come to think of it, I havent tried this with S3 yet. Be on the lookout for an updated first post..... =P
Make sure you know the music header format before attempting this. There are two bytes before "0603" that are the beginning of the header. So if you plan on using Saxman's breakdown, make sure you start at the beginning as to avoid confusion.
HUGE update on the first post. Found the music pointers for all these games, so you can find pretty much every piece of music. I also added some locations for Sonic 3D, so you should be able to easily port between games now. As I said, go wild. I want to see some more music hacking out there.
