Still, I am questioning this whole thing's validity. That sword DOES look familiar somehow, like I saw it in another game. I'm gonna start searching my game libraries, namely my PS1 collection. If this is some sorta hoax, then the sword is likely to have been based off a sword from another game as an inside joke for the hoaxer him/herself.

To me Sonic always symbolised (up until the later games) Nature (Sonic) Vs. Technology (Robotnik). A sword isn't technology as such, but it certainly isn't nature.
This makes about as much sense for Sonic's character as giving Knuckles a mobile phone; none at all.

Surely the thing is that Sonic wouldn't need a weapon, being a weapon in and of himself, given the spin attack. And he moaned at Shadow for using weapons, so this is worse in a way.

Quoted for truth. I'm glad someone other than me (and JXT) noticed that!

9/11 a crime against humanity? lolwhat. "Just" a few thousand people died which, while of course a terrible thing, isn't really bad compared to a lot of other things. Practically any war causes a lot more casualties.

If Sega saw this thread, they'd probably make a new game and craft it in a way to piss everyone one of us off, in everyway possible.

Yea. The make games THAT piss us off, in every possible way. Its unintentional, they are worried about their pockets. Image if they didnt care about the cost to INTENTIONALLY piss US, the Sonic Community that posts 4 pages, (9 pages with default settings) of BAWWW and WTFFAIL and whatnot over one picture.
