    Jack shit.
I actually have NBA Action '94 too. :(

  4. Scanned Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble, Hook, Road Rash II and World Series Baseball '96. Not sure if the last two will be accepted though since they do have some minor blemishes on the front. If anything, they can be used as placeholders.

Just to point this out, there are two versions of Mario Andretti Racing. A cardboard box variant (whose cartridge was scanned NTICompass yesterday) and a traditional clamshell variant. The difference is pretty severe - the cardboard box bundle is the only EA game I've seen not to use their special "square" cartridge shell. Presumably the ROM is the same and this was simply done to clear old stock... but maybe worth checking out at some point.

I don't think this information was recorded anywhere until today, so be aware - just because something is scanned doesn't mean your version is scanned. This is especially true of games published by Accolade, and I know there's two different variants of Battletoads (pubished by Tradewest). Obviously re-releases such as the Mega Hit Series will differ too.

Both Sega and EA liked to jump between plastic and cardboard for distributing games in the US. Thankfully there's very little of that noise elsewhere in the world.

  8. Huh, just realized we don't have the Mega Hits version of the Vectorman cartridge scanned. Maybe I'll get on that.

If I can get to a scanner, I can scan Aerobiz, Wiz & Liz, and a couple of others.

If I had access to a good scanner, I'd scan a few, got the SEGA Genesis Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends game, which I've had for like 20-21 of my 23 year old life sitting around.

OK, ok, one in a while out of nostalgia I'll pop the cartridge in and play, I really liked the racing mode in that as a kid, and I want to hack the game to see if I can modify that stuff.

Most of my collection is loose carts... and most are not exactly "pristine" condition. So I COULD scan Aero the Acro-Bat, it would only be the cart and not be the best of quality. I do have some boxes, but no idea where they are. I have all my manuals here, but I don't have all that many. They're in good shape, though, so if I find any on the list, I'll scan them. Is there a separate list for manuals? How about SCD manuals?

    Welp, this.
We're currently working on a way to give lists for everything, because a ton of folks are willing to help and trying to explain how to reach the raw lists is...frustrating. :P

I uploaded my World Series Baseball cart.

I know the cart isn't in pristine condition but it is at least something to display until someone uploads a better kept cartridge. I'm also admittedly unfamiliar with using any image editing software that isn't crap. (I really need to fix that.) The image most likely needs a much better touch up (straightening, etc...). I uploaded it anyway on the basis that something is better than nothing.

For what it's worth, maybe asking this ebay user for scans of many of the requested Genesis carts wouldn't hurt.
    http://myworld.ebay.com/play_eva/?_trksid=p4340.l2559

This user is selling many of the cartridges that are on that list.

I'd do it myself, but I no longer have an ebay account. I terminated mine, due to it being hacked and used by someone.

[IMG] Scanned at 600, changed to 300 in Photoshop. Can't remember how to post it on the wiki, but I figure someone else can.

I scanned and uploaded an X-Men cart. I probably didn't compress it correctly, but for anyone out there, feel free to replace it. The sticker on the cartridge is a bit faded, so may as well as treat it as something temporary.

I set up a scan tracking system.
    http://andlabs.sonicretro.org/scans/
The front page should take several seconds to load. On it, you will find links to look at information on the scans of an individual console (or even music works). Each scan is split by individual region release, into both box and media divisions. The progress bars and statistics on the top of each page count these individual entries, not the individual files.
The pages should be self-explanatory; you can filter by region or sort by columns.

Not all consoles have every page made yet or version scanbox yet, so keep in mind that the lists and statistics are likely to change as time goes on.

On actually adding scans and editing the wiki: Be sure to name files properly! Use a name that names the game, region, console (if needed), and which scan we have. Scans are organized in a Template:Scanbox that appear on each page, and each filename goes in parameters. Box scans cover front=, back=, spine=, spine2=, top=, bottom=, and the jewel case equivalents. To make the results here more accurate, a slight change was made to the way we present box scans if the box is a single sheet insert, like with Mega Drive games and DVD cases: instead of just having front=, we now have cover=. Media scans cover disc=, cart=, and the various item*=s. Sega Retro isn't properly set up for manuals yet so those aren't being tracked at this time. The documentation on the template page will tell you how to properly add or edit scanboxes.

Sonic Retro scans will not show up right now because the tracker doesn't cross wikis. This might be fixed later, though I'm sure most of those scans will be marked Good =P

If you find an issue (such as an error), please report it to me so I can find out about it and fix it.

    Thank you for your help!

Technical stuff: For those who care (most probably will not), the source code is available here: https://github.com/andlabs/segaret_scans Please feel free to suggest optimizations or fixes (assuming you know Go or MySQL).
