The fourth one was incredible. I can't believe they didn't release it, I'd have paid full price and then some
...these were actually Sonic prototypes? It's really hard to believe, given just how they look and play (I'm not even talking about how far into development the projects were). In any case, the community still continues to amaze me.
Hahaha, thanks for getting my hopes up for nothing with that damn topic title =P What even is this fucking thing, anyway? It looks a bit too weird for me.
What are you talking about? These are legit protos! + - At least play Roommate Sonic. EDIT: Oh... Sonic Movie Maker sure goes places EDIT 2: Okay, the super secret way to get Eggman's Origin to work: + - - In the game's files, go to Extra Data Files>Unsafe File (use at own risk)>Corrupted Data and launch SegaNet. - There, put "mjstudio" in as username and "wh1t3Glove" as password, and log in. Not sure if the other options matter but I selected SegaNet as protocol anyway. - Once it's launched, start Sonic Dream Collection and go into the character creator, make your character and upload it to SegaNet - You can now select your character in Eggman's Origin and play it. Enjoy(?).
What the hell. I don't know whether I should be laughing or crying here. For anyone that wants to see what this is about Kotaku has a decent image heavy write-up here: http://kotaku.com/sonic-dreams-collection-is-nightmare-fan-fiction-come-t-1723227317 The author tried every game outside of Eggman's Origin because he couldn't log in. Some of the screenshots are hilarious.
