The first (green) CPZ looks best.

Really? Hm. I think I'll leave it the way it is, for now. I may even find a better color than either of those.

Finished Sky Chase, Hill Top and Mystic Cave's palettes. The only one left is ARZ - any suggestions?

Also, I know that there was a program that would let you edit the names of the zones - what happened to it? I can't seem to find it on Sonicology....

It would look good for a underwater pallete, but not for main part of CPZ.

*thinking*

I'm glad to see more people are making hacks.

The only programs I know of that let you edit the levels names are SHWP and ESE but I doubt you want to use ESE if your not already. SHWP can be got at my site because I think Hive took it off Sonicology in favor of SHWP II but I might be wrong about that. The level names aren't too tough to change in hex either. Just check Nemesis' page for the name locations.

I removed most of Esrael's "standalone" programs because they'd been incorporated into ESEII.

Is there a way of splitting them up so the enemies can use a seperate pallette to the levels?

Yes, you have to redo all the level's 8x8 tiles to use palette rows 2-3. When I redid CPZ for my hack, that's what I did. Takes bloody ages, but it is rewarding, since major palette changes usually allow for better graphics.
