  1. Radiant Historia Perfect Chronology

    22 March 2017 - 10:56 PM

It is an update of the DS game, Radiant Historia that is coming out in Japan on June 29th in Japan.

This was one of the games I always wanted on DS but never got, so hopefully Atlis localizes this quickly.
  2. Previously Unknown Dreamcast Game Millennium Racer: Y2K Fighters

    13 March 2017 - 11:21 PM

This is pretty damn cool. Ever heard of Millennium Racer: Y2K Fighters? Not many people have. It was developed by Creat Studio and released on the PC back in 1999 and it appears that a Dreamcast port was in the works. For whatever reason it was never shown to the public, the press...or anyone outside of Creat Studios by the looks of things. This is particularly odd because the game was recently discovered on a Dreamcast dev kit and it appears to be fully playable and complete!

  3. Astro Boy PS2 Demo Disk

    05 March 2017 - 07:25 PM

I had pictures of this before my computer died. It's a US PS2 demo disc with Astro Boy on the front of it so scans and a page on Sega Retro would be nice.

Also speaking of Astro Boy, did the Asian version come with a watch? Looking on eBay for the demo disc I ended up finding this:

I have no idea if this person is just bundling an Astro Boy watch with the game or if it actually came with it.
  4. Korean MSX Altered Beast

    21 February 2017 - 11:57 PM

Well, I don't see this on the wiki (Altered Beast (home computers)), but I came across this YouTube video:

The description of the video says this:

This is a very rare game by Korean developer Clover, from 1990. More information about Clover here:

The game was dumped by a Korean fanatic, thanks! Also thanks to BiFi/hap for figuring out how the mapper of this 64kB game works. I implemented that mapper in openMSX to such extent that the game works and then recorded this video with it. (I guess no other emulator supports it yet, because it was just dumped a few days ago and I'm not aware of any other game with this mapper.)

I needed to use the reverse feature of openMSX a lot, because especially level 2 is *really* hard.
  5. Space Channel 5 VR

    08 February 2017 - 11:11 AM

Our page on the Tokyo Game Show 2016 listed this so I looked into it.

This is apparently a trailer of some sort with SC5 at the end:

This seems to be the only video on YouTube that shows the whole thing:

I'm guessing it's just a tech demo though.
