Hulu is ending its free streaming service. shouldn't we try to save those JP/subs episodes 4kids left behind on Hulu before they close off the free service?

At the same time, it is moving its ad-supported free streaming to a new service by Yahoo called Yahoo View.
Ahahaha oh my god, they really don't know what to do with the Yahoo brand!

Yeah its stupid, thats why I'm saying maybe it would be a good idea to have a hard backup of those episodes.

Yeah. We shouldn't let them go to waste. Someone get it while it's free.

I forgot that they had the uncut version available for streaming at all... lol. Then again I have the whole series subbed so it's not too big of a loss. :v: Would be nice to have better translated/timed subs on episodes 53-78, though...

Out of curiosity, are the Hulu episodes any higher quality than the current Japanese DVD rips? It would be nice to think that 4kids had access to a better quality source than the old fansubbers, but I guess there's only so much you can do for that early/mid-2000 era of digital Anime to improve the quality.

I watched the first episode subbed the other day, and it was so clean there wasn't even any text during the intro and outro. Bad jokes aside, it's very high quality. Looks great.

What!? How long has Hulu had this subtitled for? I wish I'd known sooner. I remember 4Kids uploading them to YouTube...I think without subtitles. Hopefully I can finish it before they require subscription. I already tried subscribing to them, but canceled as soon as I found out it was pointless and they still gave me ads. I know they have since made a new, more expensive option available which is ad-free, but it's too late for winning ME over.

Puto! You're quite the familiar "face". I know you from Kanzenshuu. Also, good work on saving the subtitles. Your service to the community is admirable, good sir.
