  1. Some of the best remixers of all time worked together to compose a Sonic 3 & Knuckles arrangement album titled Project Chaos, as well as another series titled Hedgehog Heaven. The link's below, and its nearly the entirety of his uploads. What do you think? My favorite so far is Lava Passion.

    Project Chaos.

    Trapped in my own thoughts.
Two stageplays, a screenplay, and an album
    Nothing new.

I could listen to Knuckleduster a million times in a row. That's how much I love that remix.

  3. It doesn't have to be new to be good.

Secluded Stronghold <3 Damn, I loved that song...

  6. Oh my god, that Sky Sanctuary is giving me goosebumps. Lava Reef was awesome too.

Old or not, thanks OP. I had no idea this existed.

EDIT: Yeah, what Frozen Nitrogen said. I had no idea I was listening to Breathtaking Vision until I checked the title

EDIT 2: So, uh, everything I'm previewing on Youtube sounds fucking amazing. Should I blind download the whole album and get it over with?

The Sky Sanctuary and Flying Battery arrangements are pretty ace.

Kinda hate it when some of the tunes, like the final boss/Doomsday mix, end up breaking into nutty solos midsong.

  8. You're welcome. And yes, you should, I uploaded them all to my iPod, and I'm not disappointed with any of the songs.

A majority of the remixes are trash and sound nothing like what they're supposed to. Just like most songs on OCRemix! :specialed:

However, Malicious Fingers and The Doomsday are indeed awesome.

  12. Brotip: A remix's job is to not be its original song. Also, they all do sound like the original song, except for maybe Elevator Music and Three Ring Nightfall.

To be honest, I listened to the Emerald Hill remix of Hedgehog Heaven, and the first thing I thought was, "MY EARS!!!! THEY BLEED!!!!!!!!"

But Project Chaos is MUCH better. I remember when I first heard Walk on Water nearly 4 years ago (woah, it's been that long!?!?!?), I nearly shat my pants. Best Hydrocity remix ever! Last month I made a "fake" video showing what S3&K would be like with Walk on Water:
    http://s441.photobucket.com/albums/qq134/1...drocityMock.mp4

Although the only ones I truly like are (in order from best):
    1. Walk on Water
    2. Malicious Fingers
    3. Live at the Sandopolis
    4. Dead Batteries
    5. The Doomsday
    6. Breathtaking Vision
    7. The Secluded Stronghold
    8. Before the Storm

I don't really like the other ones, they mostly sound like generic lame remixes, but the ones I listed (plus the short title screen remix) are EPIC and AWESOME and TRULY FUCKING AMAZING.

EDIT: sorry I just have to post this, here's Malicious Fingers in-game.

I have no idea what you guys are on, but Hedgehog Heaven is much better than Project Chaos. Most of Project Chaos is CONSTANT OVERDRIVE GUITAR which makes me glad there's a skip button on my phone's earphones, and the few good ones are by Kanjika, Rexy, and Hetcenus.

  15. Yeah, Hedgehog Heaven was okay at best and awful at worst. Way too much try-hard techno.

  16. I don't know if it's most, but it doesn't seem like that. I heard several songs that didn't even use guitar.

And I named them right there.

  18. But I could name more from that album that don't use it or use it very lightly.

EDIT: I just checked the track list for Project Chaos. I'm not seeing those three tracks you listed?

What about "Walk on Water" by HousetheGrate? I thought that one was good, from a modern latin jazz and early 90's metal perspective.

Understandable, but what's the point in naming a song after someone else' composition if you can't hear any connection, or if it only has a couple bits and pieces of the original melody? By that point, it may as well be an original composition.
