I'll be buying an iPod Touch later this year. I look forward to playing this game along with Sonic Jump. Now that they have stated the game is in 3D, this is what I expect. Or something along those lines at least.
It seems so. "Our spikey hero goes on a fast and frenzied 3D dash through the stunning grassy verges of Seaside Hill" is a perfect description of that tech demo! Even down to the Seaside Hill bit!
It would be dumb to make just that. That tech demo was literally just you having to rub the touch screen as fast as possible, also it was just a tech demo. This game will probably be more like Temple Run or Sonic and the Secret Rings.

Ewh. That render is worse than the Sonic 4 one. How come Sonic Team constantly add muck to his shoes. I understand he runs a lot but its the only part of his body/clothes that is affected by the elements. Regardless I am looking forward to this.
I remember watching that back in the day. Looks pretty snazzy for a DS game. Looking forward to what this will be, hopefully something interesting. On a side note why's it sound like pacman in the video O_o
It had been pointed out to me that the render's mouth can't make its mind up whether or not it's happy or angry:

I don't see the big deal about the render. At least its not a hardening grin like the Sonic 4 ones. Besides he's been having muddy looking shoes since Unleashed/06 era.
The Sonic Stadium has reported that Sonic Dash launches this Thursday. I didn't expect the game to be released so soon. We don't even have any footage or screenshots yet.
It is just a personal irritation of mine that the characters have muddy shoes, such a minor concern compared to his expression which only seem to happen on "lower budget" games. He doesn't look uncertain in the main titles.
Can't wait for this, seems like it'll be similar to the new Pitfall! game on iOS. That Zaxxon Escape game was cool too.
Oh man...I had no idea they'd made a Pitfall! game for iOS. Downloaded instantly. Massively happy its free. Sonic Dash needs to be free too, IMO. The Temple Run games are free too, after all. (I just made a typo that amused me and wrote Sonic Cash just then..perhaps that is a sign..)
The story revolves around Sonic dashing to the dentist to get that gingivitis looked at, I hope. Poor guy, you gotta brush after all those chili dogs.
