Im using the latest gpsp on a pspslim. Games like sonic advance 2 and doom have pretty bad lag, graphical issues, slow framerates and choppy audio. Also, the nes classics only pull up a blank screen. I already messed with the graphic and audio settings, but no method seems to run the games at fullspeed. Any better emus or fix around this?

I get no lag issues from gpsp and I'm not even using custom firmware...I have the audio buffer set to 4096 bytes, frameskip set to automatic with a value of 4 (variation set to uniform) and I get no lag, no graphical issues and the audio is just fine. The ONLY time I've had audio issues is say the music going ever so slightly out of sync if I've been to and from the emulator menu a lot, not to mention I end up sticking my PSP on sleep mode while playing rather than quitting the emulator, so that probably causes part. This is on the PSP 2000 (Slim and Lite) by the way.

Also, I THINK the NES Classics is an issue with the games themselves, as I think they refuse to run in any emulator at all.

EDIT: Oh, and I have Clock speed set to 333MHz in the "Cheats and Miscellaneous options" section. Try that.

Thanks, but I used those options, and the other graphical settings, and I'm still getting the same issue. normally Id try another emulator, but gpsp seems to be the best one at the moment.

Fixed the issue by simply updating to
http://pspslimhacks....igned-released/
the latest version can also be translated in english in the menu setting

when googled "latest gpsp", I was using the wrong link on the first page and didnt see the 2009 year. this one is 2011.
How silly of me.

Okay, I hate to be redundant, but now I've encountered another error.

With the latest gpsp-j, some games such as ninja 5-O and shining soul 1 and 2 are giving me" bad jump errors", then taking me back to the psp home screen. Any idea what causes this?
