The only thing that bothers me about this video is that he lost his rings but still managed to get enough for the giant ring. :v: I don't think it would have been that easy to collect 50 rings at that point in the level, maybe like 20 or 30 but not 50 because he didn't backtrack. Maybe I'm wrong about that though... Still a very awesome video but I think I saw this last night. (Not the video itself, didn't watch that until this morning.)
I was expecting nauseating camera spin upon jumps, and he didn't grab the super shield... Whatever. Cool animation.
A friend and I were underwhelmed by the video. Like what Aesculapius Piranha said, I expected the video to be extremely dizzying whenever Sonic jumped but that didn't happen. Also, the remix kind of sucked.
I actually wanted to do a Garry's Mod gamemode that was first-person Sonic, or something along those lines, as it could be fun. Now I really want to explore the idea. :D
Well, I do have a certain project involving a stoner cat that's quite similar. I refuse to comment on its current status, however.
I thought we all ready knew what First-Person Sonic Vision looks like... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3hNaN2x8_k
Videos like these always piss me off. It's just how they manage to fuck up all kinds of details and how broken/inconsistent the art is. That first person SMB3 vid was five times better than this.
"First person Sonic at 1/4th speed" Is probably a much better title. Granted, at full speed we couldn't see shit.
I didn't enjoy it because I thought the video was underwhelming and the Green Hill Zone remix sucked. Not to mention if every post was as simple and complimentary as "neat," it would be a much more boring discussion, especially on a forum full of nitpickers. :v: I don't mean that as an insult toward your post as much as I just like seeing diversity in opinions. Though I guess if everyone in this thread held the same exact opinion about something, it would make for a more unique thread simply because it's difficult for this community to have a near universal consensus on anything Sonic related.
