Could you please explain what you've changed on that? I can't seem to see much difference other than the top of Tails' head looks a bit rough, and his left ear looks slightly bigger... I think (or not?).
I think that image is nailed... although the front tail seems a bit thick. Is it thick or is it just me being thick?
should it not be more like this, so Tails` left eye is not cross-eyed? [his focus seemed to be at his nose]
Yeah, probably something like that. Vincent is gonna do more work on Tails after he's done with Sonic, which should be soon. I threw the last version I did on the database for him to look at when he starts so he can adjust the eyes accordingly. I could tweak the shape and reupload it, or I could just remind him later if he doesn't remember.
Tails being my favorite character and all, I also greatly prefer this new belly shape to the original. I also don't like the word belly. My only problem right now is his left hand, which seems to be... odd for lack of a better word. It's angle and shape seem off compared to the original mock up and with the different tuft of fur it looks like it's dangling from the side of his chest as opposed to being part of his arm. If I'm not just being nitpicky and stupid, that is.
I know that is just a teaser, but just to let you know, Sonic's quills are too stiff, and they stick out too much from behind him.
The palm's of Sonic's hands seem strange as well. Frankly, they look like arses... Maybe you should brighten up the colours in the shadings a bit to make them appear more smooth.
Just a couple of things I'm seeing: 1. The hands look a little fat compared to the original. 2. The eye should be a little wider. 3. His right foot should be tilted inward a little more. 4. The chin could use a little more shading and blend. Perhaps make it slightly smaller too. It almost looks to me like the beige section was cut and pasted onto the rest. Great work as always Vincent!
Sonic's right hand (close one) should be as flung out as the left, also here is some very good opportunity for some interpretation.
