Vote for the return of an obscure character

That's not what got me, it's the fact there are so many of these stupid characters they practically overshadow Sonic. What makes it even worse is that these aren't even ALL of them.

 

That's certainly true. I don't mind seeing them in spin-offs and the like, however. Kind of like how Waluigi and Daisy never show up in the main Mario games. Ever. (And Mario Land doesn't count. >_>)

 

I'd never want to see the Chaotix/Cream/anyone in that deviation (Save for Sonic, Knuckles, Silver and Tails) playable again. In a multiple-branch story, however, I wouldn't be unhappy to see them, but only as a story development character.

 

Sonic R and Sonic the Fighters, I don't mind at all. I'd take Sonic R over Riders any day of the week.

 

S'not a problem unless they try to make a standard platforming game that includes all of them, then it gets inundated.

It's just important to have them get some sort of character development and not get overexposed.

It's a series of games that's primarily shooter titles, which like S1EE are the brainchild of a single person.

 

Sonic seems to have become a somewhat obscure character in the franchise lately. I'll vote for him.

What if all this was just to add new characters for Winter Olympics?

 

They would have added a new random robot character like they did in the first Riders =P

 

At least if Nack really did win, that means if Sega uses this for a game, we will have a new villain in the new series instead of one more to add to the list of companions, not that I'd mind an alternate cast of friends in a different game.

Which would be interesting. Why not give Tails and Knuckles a break and have Sonic bump into Mighty and Ray every once in a while?

 

I swear, I had a dream about that a week ago

It was a pretty good dream actually. Mighty made a comeback in the winter games, and I was overjoyed to see him. Seriously, I think it would be amazing to see the little guy back, I've been a fan since about 2000 when I saw some art and thought what a cool guy. So it's a bit of nostalgia for me. But I'm not putting my hopes all on the fact that chaotix returned and now Sega are going to let anyone back. It's more than likely we won't see the old characters back again.
