In order to conserve collaboration, you need to destroy it Definately. I would love to help this project, even though I'm not uber leet I agree. I wasn't suggesting some sort of ffa unorganised development of the game. And that's a huge shame. Great questions Magitek. I too am interested in those sort of details. Hopefully :v: I would assume that these people who would steal the art and the engine to create their own sonic game wouldn't contribute to Sonic 2HD in any case. A "problem" would only occur if they released this other sonic game before Sonic 2HD, and they take all the credit for all the sweet graphics and familiar feeling physics. Me too! Excellent!
No, but it is confusing for people watching the development of this project if there are multiple communities developing their own "Sonic HD". We would also lose potential contributors if folks decided to help those projects instead of this one. No, nothing is being destroyed It is a way of ensuring that all the effort of contributors is channelled correctly into one place, so as to ensure maximum efficiency, thereby reducing the development time of the project. It is just his personal choice so he can work in peace until the release of the tech demo.
So much for hoping one of our international friends would be the programmer and kindly release the tech demo before I called it a night. Looking forward to the deluge of comments (as I know zero code and have even less motivation to) soon to come!
